Septembers first Senior of the Month is one of the most highly motivated and enthusiastic students in the senior class.  Her involvement and commitment to the Carey community is unsurpassed.  She is an extremely bright young woman who takes enormous pride in all her school work and has gained membership into the National, World Language, Science and Art Honor Societies.  She stands out in a sea of high achieving students not only for her academic standards, but for her work ethic, character and demeanor.  An amazing leader, she is President of the Class of 2020, President of Spanish Leadership, Vice President of FBLA, Treasurer of the Photography Club and Captain of the Field Hockey Team.  She holds the position of Editor of LOG, is a member of the Gender Equality Club and is actively involved in Relay for Life.  She is a dedicated and longtime member of the Girl Scouts and a helpful volunteer for younger children in the community.  This senior is a true pleasure to work with and is always smiling and positive.  Let’s congratulate Lauren Gunn with September’s Senior of the Month.
