On behalf of the H. Frank Carey High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), we would like to extend a warm welcome to our incoming 7th graders, new families, and returning families. We are looking forward to a productive and fun school year ahead.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our monthly PTSA meetings beginning on September 17. Seventh Grade Orientation is on August 29 at 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. Each meeting provides our members with an opportunity to meet school admistrators, teachers, and other HFC parents. The speakers this year will be addressing a wide variety of topics such as technology initiatives at HFC, mindfulness, college admissions, and many others.
The Carey PTSA has a very dedicated and enthusiastic Executive Board, and an energetic group of Committee Chairs. These committees are listed on the PTSA webpage and are also included in the directory. We invite you to contact any one of us if we may assist you in any way. We work closely with the HFC Dad’s Club, and would encourage everyone to support the great work they do for our school and community.
Your membership allows the PTSA to raise funds to provide a wide range of educational enrichment programs for the students, and also help to fund scholarships for the graduating class of 2019. The PTSA has provided many education and social activities that may have otherwise been unavailable to our students. This is your PTSA, the more member involvement we have, the more successful we will be.
Visit the Carey PTSA website to keep updated on school and district events, purchase CareyWear, and most importantly sign up for membership! What better way to show our kids how important their school is than by joining the PTSA. Everyone can join, parents, students, school staff, and even Grandparents!
Thank you in advance for your support, f you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via our website. Have a wonderful school year and we look forward to seeing you at our first PTSA meeting on September 17.
